On Sunday April 23rd, join RideYellow as we wake up early and put on our running shoes to partake in the Ronald McDonald Walk for Kids event at the Shoreline Village. This family friendly 5k will help raise funds and awareness for the services and programs that the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House provides.
By coming out to support the 5k you will be helping the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House reach its $250,000 fundraising goal.

Why Support the Long Beach House
The Walk for Kids 5k in Long Beach helps raise $25,000 to support the programs and services provided by the Long beach Ronald McDonald House. The House has recently celebrated their 5th anniversary. Since 2011, the house has helped over 3,000 families by providing a source of comfort, care and support to families who need a place to stay while their child is being treated at a local hospital.
Research has proven that a family’s presence in the hospital helps children heal, additionally, staying close to their child allows the parents to better communicate with their child’s medical team about treatment plans.
If you want to help the Ronald McDonald Long Beach House you can donate on their website, volunteer your time at one of their houses, participate in the Walk For Kids 5k or use the RideYellow app. Through gifts of time, talent and financial support, the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is able to be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
