If you follow us on Instagram, you would probably know that we know the best places to go in SoCal and especially South Los Angeles.

There are many places in the South Bay that you would never know existed even if you have lived in the area your entire life. For this list, we included some places that we thought a lot of people haven’t been to. Here is the countdown of the most Instagrammed Spots in the South Bay.

Korean Bell of Friendship

The Korean Bell of Friendship is a not so well known, but also surprisingly the coolest place to venture in the South Bay. The views from this monument are out of this world. Not only is the bell itself an awesome monument, but there is a basketball court near the bell that overlooks the entire Palos Verde Coastline.

Point Vicente Lighthouse

Point Vincente Lighthouse is another coastal monument in the South Bay. At the moment people cannot walk to the Lighthouse in order to preserve it, but there is still plenty to do and plenty to see regardless.

Pine Wind Garden

If you are a big fan of the Long Beach State University Japanese Garden then you will also love the Pine Winds Japanese Garden in Torrance. This garden is small, but surprisingly relaxing and a great escape from the normal day-to-day.

South Coast Botanic Garden

The South Coast Botanical Garden is a huge garden that has miles of trails. You have to pay to enter the gardens, but a stroll through this garden is worth it. The best time to visit is during the summer months when flowers are in bloom.

Manhattan Beach Pier

Unlike most piers on the coast, Manhattan Beach Pier has a lot of photo opportunities to feed your Instagram. If you want to get some great beach photos and you are in the South Bay then the Manhattan Beach Pier is a great starting point.

Vincent Thomas Bridge

The Vincent Thomas Bridge isn’t necessarily a place you can visit in the South Bay. The vast majority of the people use the bridge as a thing to drive over from Long Beach, but many see it as the Golden Gate Bridge of the South Bay.
