- Lomita Railroad Museum – Do you love steam engines and railroads? Come visit this historic railroad museum that opened in 1966. It was designed to replicate the Boston and Maine’s Greewood Station in Wakefield, MA.
- Takaishi Garden – This Japanese garden is unique because it is actualy located in front of the Lomita City hall. It was dedicated in 1986 to Lomita’s sister city, Takaishi, Japan.
- Demonstration Garden – The Demonstration Garden is actually right next to the Takaishi Garden and walking distance to the Lomita Railroad Museum! It was designed utilizing druaght tolerant plants to reduce water use.
