Butterfly World – As the largest Butterfly Park in the world. This large facility has is over 3 acres and contains butterfly aviaries, botanical gardens, a working butterfly farm and a research center. Not only will you see a lot of butterflies, but the park now includes 2 additional aviaries for a rainbow of birds and hummingbirds.
Las Olas Boulevard – Known for its luxury shopping and dining, the strip includes fashion boutiques, art galleries, sidewalk cafes, and a great bar scene. Not only is there a lot to do but it is one of South Florida’s most architecturally unique, authentic and eclectic district.
NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale – This art museum is a true gem of Fort Lauderdale. Not only is it free for kids who are 12 and under but it stands up to par with some of the best art museums in the country. Filled with fascinating modern art and mind blowing creations, the NSU Art Museum is a place for the whole family.
