Los Angeles

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch

Appropriately named for the Halloween season, Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch is fun for the whole family. Open from 9 am – 9 pm the patch costs $5 and has a jump house, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and a straw maze.

Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch

Looking for that perfect pumpkin in Los Angeles? Shawn’s Pumpkin patch is right in the middle of the city and doesn’t only have pumpkins, they have bounce houses, ponies, carnival rides, obstacle courses and a straw maze. It is free to enter the Pumpkin Patch, but the rides do cost money to ride on. Even if you aren’t looking for a pumpkin you can go to Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch from October 6th through the end of October and partake in the Halloween festivities.

Lopez Ranch Pumpkin Patch

Lopez Ranch is one of the only Pumpkin Patches in the Venice area. This patch has great customer service and even a mascot. If you are in the Venice area and you want to stay away from getting your pumpkin from the grocery store, then the Lopez Ranch Pumpkin Patch might be the best choice for you.

Mr. Jack O’ Lanterns Pumpkins

Mr. Jack O’ Lanterns Pumpkins is another Los Angeles location that isn’t just a traditional pumpkin patch. This location puts the effort into creating a family-friendly space that brings families back throughout October to partake in Halloween festivities. Returning families should look into their bulk activities passes where get you access to all of their rides and activities for the day or the whole season.

Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch

Located in the beautiful Irvine Regional Park, this pumpkin patch is stunning and family friendly. Come pick a pumpkin and take the mini train around the grounds or let the children play on the many rides and activities that they have. Admission is free, but you have to pay to do the activities like the haunted house, tractor rides, and the bounce house. However, this patch one of the best in SoCal.

Tanaka Farm Pumpkin Patch

This vast field of pumpkins is a beautiful site. What seems like an endless selection to choose from, you are sure to find the right pumpkin here. Come adventure the corn maze, ride the wagon or use the pumpkin launcher. Yes, I said pumpkin launcher! This patch is open from 9 am6 pm.

Johnson Brothers Pumpkin Patch

Located in Irvine, Johnson Brothers Pumpkin Patch is free to enter and has thousands of fresh pumpkins to choose from. Fully equipped with activities for all ages, the Johnson Brothers Pumpkin Patch is open throughout October and is even open until 9 pm.

Enchanted Country Pumpkins

What makes this Pumpkin Patch so enchanted. Well, unlike the other pumpkin patches in the are that have activities and rides for the little ones, Enchanted Country Pumpkins also has costume characters walking around the grounds. You can get your photo taken with Cinderella, SpiderMan or whoever just happened to make an appearance that day.

Pumpkin City

Pumpkin City is Laguna Hill’s best place to pick up the right pumpkin. This patch has actual rides that you might see at the fair. You can even get tasty fair treats from this patch, including churros, cookies, and hot dogs! Pumpkin City is one of the best pumpkin patches to have fun at for the whole family.

Long Beach

Pa’s Pumpkin Patch

Long Beach favorite, Pa’s Pumpkin Patch, is located just on the border of Seal Beach and Long Beach. This largely fenced patch has tons to do for the kids including games, a petting zoo, pony rides, and amusement park type rides. Admission is typically a couple dollars, but you can usually get in for free.

South Bay

Debbie and Jeff’s Pumpkin Patch

One of the more smaller and personal pumpkin patches on the list, Debbie, and Jeff’s Patch has been around for a long time and has become a favorite for Redondo Beach. They have a large selection of pumpkins to choose from and even some animals for the children to pet.

Located: 411 S PCH Redondo Beach, CA

Cottone and Sons Pumpkin Patch

Cottone and Sons Pumpkin Patch is the best patch in Torrance. The patch has jump houses, pony rides, a petting zoo and a huge selection of pumpkins. Located at the Del Amo Fashion Center Mall you can get your shop on and then get a pumpkin on the way out.
